The title of the book is Utopia. The whole story is based upon how people are wanting to drive the mutants away, taking away their rights, and the mutants aren`t really happy about it. So what happens when people aren`t agreeing with each other? Well my friend we have a disagreement. And what happens when a disagreement wages on? Then, old pal, we get a fight. And man, do these people get mad at each other. Well, Scott Summers, being the hero and mastermind that he is, comes up with an amazing plot-twisting plan. I wont`t spoil it for ya, but Scott bring an island out of the sea for the mutants to live in. That is where the book-end fight happens, and that is where the mutants will live. So, what is a utopia? A utopia is a perfect place. It`s basically heaven. So what did Summers make for the mutants? An Utopia for them to live in. Their Happy place.

The city of San Francisco is an amazing setting for this arc because it`s big and open, providing good enough space for everyone to go all out on each other. I enjoy reading about all the fights that happen at the same time. Another good setting is when Utopia is built, a huge fights rages on in there. It suddenly becomes a huge battleground for the amazing X-Men vs. Dark Avengers and Dark X-Men. Any other area would suffice, but the fact that the fight is held in the X-Men`s hometown adds to the plot.

I really like the point of view because you can know what is happening at all times. For example, when Colossus and Venom fight, you get every inch of action because you know everything that is happening instead of watching it from the point of view of one character. At the same time you are reading about this fight, you are also reading about how Scott Summers in talking with Emma Frost about what should be done. I would leave it as it is because there is no way all of these events would be portrayed at once with a different narrator.

Hank McCoy (good guy) is on the prison of Norman Osborn for mutants. Well, this isn`t any kind of prison. This fella is imprisoning mutants for a machine called "The Omega Machine". What the Omega machine does is basically drain the powers from a mutant and gives its energy to Omega, the guy. Well Beast is put on here along with professor Xavier, who was imprisoned here before beast. Now, they are in separate cells, so how do they communicate? Telepathy! You are talking with Professor Xavier, the biggest telepath in this industry. Xavier and Beast are trying to devise a plan telepathically to escape.

Now that Osborn is in town, everyone is anxious. There are now two teams of main characters: The Uncanny X-Men and Osborn`s Dark Avengers. The main people in the X-Men are the following: Cyclops, who can shoot lasers from his eyes; Emma Frost, who has amazing telepathic powers; Professor Xavier, the biggest telepath and mind bender in the Marvel universe; Beast, a man-cat with amazing agility and intellect; Colossus, made out of metal and insanely strong; Iceman, made out of ice; and Nightcrawler, my personal favorite, who can teleport.

The other guys are the Dark Avengers: Norman Osborn/Iron Patriot, modified Iron Man suit fit to his needs and personality; Ms Marvel, who can shoot energy blasts and be untouchable; Bullseye, who is the twisted, crazy side of Hawkeye; Daken, the son of wolverine; Spider-Man/Venom/Mac Gargan, who adopted the venom symbiote, driving him crazy(not Peter Parker); Ares, the god of war; and last, but definately NOT least, The Sentry. He is one of my favorite superheroes, and he is also one of the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe. The thing is, Sentry is schizophrenic. Yup. That`s his downisde. That still doesn´t stop him from bringing down some of the most amazing superheroes, like Thor, Namor, Dr. Strange and many more. He is the one who stopped the Hulk when no-one else could, and almost destroyed the earth in the process.

I am 100% sure the narrator is an omnipotent narrator, for he knows everything that is happening at all times, what they are thinking, and what they are saying. Now, this is the Marvel universe. Things aren`t just "The Narrator". The actual person who is narrating this thing is in fact an omnipotent narrator, in fact, he is Uatu the Watcher. He is basically the god of the Marvel Universe, and he is also who narrates all the comics.

The city is erupting in riots. Most of San Francisco is now being overrun by protesters of both sides: Mutants and Humans alike, both trying to battle for the rights that mutants should/should not have.  The Alamo Drafthouse Theater is where the first casualty happens, when an enraged rioter drives through the crowd and kills some people. Everyone blames the mutants for the casualties. As soon as this is reported, the mayor becomes involved and is called by Norman Osborn, now leader of H.A.M.M.E.R division and has his own team of avengers. He tells the mayor that he is sending his avengers and troops into San Francisco to take care of the rebel mutants, for the local authorities can`t  deal with them. His team of avengers consists of The Venom Spiderman (Mac Gargan), Ares, Daken (wolverine`s son), Mrs. Marvel, Bullseye, and last, but definitely not least, The Sentry. Iron Patriot (A.K.A Norman Osborn) all head into the city to try and contain everyone. They are not allowed to kill, only to arrest and fight the mutants.  This is one of the biggest conflicts yet for this team of superpowered humans are very good at what they do. Specially Ares and Sentry, for they are nearly omnipotent. The X-Men now need to deal with these guys AND Simon Trask.

Simon Trask has arrived in San Francisco (where the X-Men HQ is at) to riot about how mutants should not have equal rights. They were on their way to the capitol building, only to be stopped by Hank McCoy, or "Beast", alongside a couple dozen mutants. At first they try to be all peaceful, only to be thrown bricks at, which then angers the mutants. A fight soon happens, and the cops get involved. Beast is arrested, alongside a couple of other mutants.  Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Emma Frost (White Queen) are advised by the mayor that mutants are getting arrested. Simon Trask is taken to the hospital.

To the left, Trask.
